Devons Most Exciting Adventure Centre

The Bunkhouse

Group Accommodation for Stags & Hens

On site at Rock and Rapid Adventures we have our own Bunkhouse which is perfect for Stag and Hen Groups for their weekends in North Devon.

The Bunkhouse can sleep up to 40 people meaning it is perfect for large group accommodation and gatherings. It is a completely self-containedbuilding meaning you can be completely left to it, though we can offer a full catering package if desired. Within the bunkhouse are 2 Alpine style bunkrooms with ensuite bathrooms and 2 twin rooms with bunk beds. A large kitchen provides the facility for self-catering with a range style cooker and american fridge/freezer for keeping the essentials cold!  There is also a large dining and living room for evening socialising

It isn’t 5 star accommodation but it is definitely not back to basics, and after a full day with the Rock and Rapid Adventures team you will be far too tired to want anything other than a decent comfy bed! The Bunkhouse can be booked from a one nights stay through to a whole week and we welcome all parties with no discrimination i.e. many places will not allow same gender groups or under 25’s, but with us anybody is welcome.

Where are we located?

Our Bunk House Accommodation is located on site in North Devon, which is the home to Rock and Rapid Adventures. The stunning Devon coast, beaches, Exmoor National Park and warm climate make this the desired choice for people wanting an action packed weekend.

Give us a call on 01769 309002 if you would like more information or to check availability.

What is it going to Cost?

The cost of the bunkhouse is £225 a night for sole use. The bunkhouse sleeps upto 40 people, so it is cheaper than camping! We dont mind if you wish to stay one night, a long weekend or a week.

We can offer a catering package or you can opt for self-catering. Here is where the exciting bit comes in though! Let us organise your activity package.

You can choose one activity or a full package for your stay with us, choose between, Coasteering, Surfing, ClimbingMega SUP, SUP, Coastal Rafting, Raft Building, Canoeing and Clay Pidgeon Shooting.

Check out our new Activity – The Mega SUP – This has gone down brilliantly for Hen and Stag Groups.

"Stag do with a difference"

To arrange a weekend that is a bit different and feels special is becoming harder to do so it was refreshing ti find somewhere that was happy to listen to our thoughts and ideas and let us run with them. Had a fantastic weekend that combined indoor climbing, raft building challenged and a monster design and build task to product a melon flinging catapult in a morning on a budget of £100. All in a really good time had by all with very relaxed and friendly staff. Would recommend for arranging those vents that are a bit more specialised.

"Love the inclusiveness of this place"

I started climbing here about a year ago and love the atmosphere and people I meet. Ladies might, on a Monday which is run by Simmo has become a weekly must. (the coffee is pretty awesome too.) Great instruction is given on technique including safety) plus games are put together to improve climbing ability. I bring my nieces here and they love it. It’s exercise without feeling like you’re i a gym. I can’t recommend it enough!

"Great rainy day activity for all the family"

As a family of five who like to try new things, I can’t recommend this enough. The staff member who helped us was top class. Friendly, accommodating and keen. Although, we were all at different levels of experience, some of us complete notices at climbing – we all managed to spend an enjoyable couple of hours.
