Our North Devon group accommodation is located at our adventure centre site just outside South Molton. The stunning Devon coast, Exmoor National Park and countless areas of natural beauty are nearby, making this the desired choice for people in search of an action-packed weekend.
The Bunkhouse can sleep up to 40 people meaning it is the perfect choice for large group accommodation in Devon. It is a completely self-contained building, meaning you can be completely left to it – whether you’re looking for an activity weekend or for self catering holidays in Devon.
Within the bunkhouse are 2 Alpine style bunkrooms with ensuite bathrooms, accommodating up to 36 people, and two twin rooms with bunk beds and a bathroom. A large kitchen provides the facility for self-catering with a range style cooker and American fridge/freezer for keeping the essentials cold! There is also a large dining and living room for evening socialising.
It isn’t 5 star accommodation but it is definitely not back to basics, and after a full day with the Rock and Rapid Adventures team you will be far too tired to want anything other than a decent comfy bed! The Bunkhouse can be booked from a one nights stay through to a whole week and we welcome all parties with no discrimination i.e. many places will not allow same gender groups or under 25’s, but with us anybody is welcome.
The Bunkhouse itself is situated just a few metres from our amazing climbing centre, where you can learn to rock climb, boulder and abseil, and our fun outdoor low ropes course. Just a short drive away are many adventure-ready destinations including Exmoor & Dartmoor National Parks and the North Devon coast, where we run many of our outdoor activities.
We had a great stay. The children were challenged in a positive way.

As a family of five who like to try new things, I can’t recommend this enough. The staff member who helped us was top class. Friendly, accommodating and keen. Although, we were all at different levels of experience, some of us complete notices at climbing – we all managed to spend an enjoyable couple of hours.

"Love the inclusiveness of this place"
I started climbing here about a year ago and love the atmosphere and people I meet. Ladies might, on a Monday which is run by Simmo has become a weekly must. (the coffee is pretty awesome too.) Great instruction is given on technique including safety) plus games are put together to improve climbing ability. I bring my nieces here and they love it. It’s exercise without feeling like you’re i a gym. I can’t recommend it enough!
