At Rock and Rapid Adventures we have our own bunkhouse which is perfect for groups looking for large self catering group accommodation in North Devon – whether it’s for a stag or hen party, a corporate team building weekend, or a school residential trip.

This spacious Bunkhouse Devon room features four wooden bunk beds with blue mattresses. It boasts a high, slanted ceiling with exposed black beams and crisp white walls, while the floor is carpeted in soft gray.
Where are we located?

Our North Devon group accommodation is located at our adventure centre site just outside South Molton. The stunning Devon coast, Exmoor National Park and countless areas of natural beauty are nearby, making this the desired choice for people in search of an action-packed weekend.

The Accommodation

The Bunkhouse can sleep up to 40 people meaning it is the perfect choice for large group accommodation in Devon. It is a completely self-contained building, meaning you can be completely left to it – whether you’re looking for an activity weekend or for self catering holidays in Devon.

A cozy basement room in the Bunkhouse Devon features orange couches and a wooden coffee table on a dark blue carpet. A white brick column divides the space, while a window reveals lush greenery outside. In the background, a ping pong table invites guests for some playful fun.

Within the bunkhouse are 2 Alpine style bunkrooms with ensuite bathrooms, accommodating up to 36 people, and two twin rooms with bunk beds and a bathroom. A large kitchen provides the facility for self-catering with a range style cooker and American fridge/freezer for keeping the essentials cold! There is also a large dining and living room for evening socialising.

It isn’t 5 star accommodation but it is definitely not back to basics, and after a full day with the Rock and Rapid Adventures team you will be far too tired to want anything other than a decent comfy bed! The Bunkhouse can be booked from a one nights stay through to a whole week and we welcome all parties with no discrimination i.e. many places will not allow same gender groups or under 25’s, but with us anybody is welcome.

A spacious kitchen in a Bunkhouse Devon setting features light-colored cabinets, a stainless steel oven with an overhead extractor, and a large gray fridge. The well-lit room boasts patterned floor tiles and a wooden countertop, complemented by visible side door and windows.

The Bunkhouse itself is situated just a few metres from our amazing climbing centre, where you can learn to rock climb, boulder and abseil, and our fun outdoor low ropes course. Just a short drive away are many adventure-ready destinations including Exmoor & Dartmoor National Parks and the North Devon coast, where we run many of our outdoor activities.
